Good Shepherd: A Place to Grow

Are you looking for a place where you can safely ask questions and live in the ambiguity of life?  A place where you can be honest about who you are and still feel you belong? A place where you can be nurtured and challenged? A place where you can grow in faith hope and love? A place where grace grows? If so, stop in, pick up some information, or visit with the pastor or a staff person.  We would love to visit with you.

Why become a member?

Before becoming a member you are encouraged to attend worship services as well as other events at Good Shepherd.  Your presence will be graciously welcomed as soon as you enter this place.

Attending church as a guest is different from choosing to become deeply connected to others who believe.  Opening ourselves to the working of God’s spirit by being connected with a body of believers is a unique aspect of the church.  Becoming a member is choosing to no longer see yourself as a guest but instead as one who is committed to doing God’s work with a body of believers. Gathering for weekly worship and participating in the service opportunities of this church is a mark of membership. The more you participate the more you will see the unfolding mercy and love of God through this place.

New To Christianity?

If you’re brand-new to the Christian faith, or if haven’t been baptized, attend a worship service. If you would like to learn more about why we worship the way we do as well as more about the Christian faith and baptism talk to Pastor Harald Bringsjord, he would be delighted to visit with you.
